Director and Co-founder - THE rAVe Agency
Gary Kayye is a co-founder of rAVe [PUBS] and the director of THE rAVe Agency, the AV industry’s only creative agency. Also a teaching assistant professor at UNC-Chapel Hill, Gary has a longstanding history in AV – more than 25 years – in roles like VP of sales and marketing for Extron and executive VP at AMX (now Harman); he is an expert in technology marketing and branding.
In-House System Designer & Trainer - Almo Pro AV
Tom Kehr, CTS-D, CTS-I, LEED Green Associate serves as Almo’s full-time system design and training resource for manufacturers and authorized resellers. A technical subject matter expert, he is responsible for the development and delivery of a curriculum to improve the education, performance and certification levels of all Almo stakeholders. He is also a lead trainer for Almo’s regional E4 Experience and virtual E4 Evolution (E4v) programs. Prior to Almo, Tom was Senior Staff Instructor for AVIXA and before then, he worked as Senior Designer for a large Washington, D.C. area design/build firm.
In addition, Tom has been heavily involved in church audio, leading ministry teams and training volunteers in both permanent and portable venues. He also owned a regional sound reinforcement company for more than 16 years. Tom is a member of SynAudCon and AES and is a licensed amateur radio operator. Tom is certified by AVIXA as a CTS-D and CTS-I. He also holds CompTIA Network+, ATD Master Trainer, LEED Green Associate and ISF-C professional designations.

As a Senior Staff Instructor at AVIXA, Chuck has over 26 years’ experience in the AV industry with 13 years in the United States Marine Corps. In the U.S. Marine Corps, Chuck was the Chief Sound System Engineer for the United States Marine Corps’ Musical field units. Since retiring from the Marines, he has held a variety of AV positions supporting commercial and federal government clients as well as contributing to the development of hundreds of audio-visual professionals. Chuck has served on the Scheme and Item Writers committee, as an AVIXA’s Leadership Search Committee Member and Chair of AVIXA’s Certification Steering Committee, as well as a contributor the InfoComm Installation Handbook.
