Modern Meeting Room Design
11:30AM – 12:30PM
CTS and CTS-D: 1 ![]()
Training Room 1
Is the new meeting room merely a revamped version of the old space only now with more “technology stuff”? Throughout this session, we’ll look at what’s required to give the technology the best opportunity to do what it’s supposed to do – help people communicate with one another. Our goal is to leverage the available resources to truly begin building high performance rooms that foster connections in the modern workspace.

Basic Acoustics for Meeting Rooms
2:00 – 3:00PM
CTS, CTS-D, and CTS-I: 1
Training Room 1
We’ll focus on two main issues: Acoustics and Background Noise. Why does this room sound the way it does? Why do you like certain rooms and not others? Why does communication seem easier in some rooms? Each room has a unique “sound” to it. Learn why they sound the way they do and what you might be able to do about it. Meeting rooms are for communicating. Learn how to remove the barriers and create a comfortable space for people to exchange ideas.

Network Security for Pro AV Systems
11:30AM – 12:30PM
CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I and ANP: 1
Main Stage
As Pro AV systems increasingly rely on IP networks, integrators and designers are now responsible for devices that are visible, addressable, and vulnerable on enterprise networks. This course provides a practical, AV-focused introduction to network security concepts, risks, and responsibilities specific to Pro AV systems. Participants will learn how unsecured AV endpoints create business, technical, and reputational risk, and how to apply baseline security principles without becoming cybersecurity experts.

Connecting the Dots.....Unlocking Command and Control Opportunities in Emerging Tech
11:30AM – 12:30PM
CTS, CTS-D and ANP: 1 ![]()
Training Room 2
This future-forward session will focus on how to integrate Emerging Technologies like Drones and XR into Command and Control capabilities. These capabilities are growing rapidly and understanding how to properly build the architecture is important to prevent costly mistakes.
What equipment works best together (DVLED vs LCD, Signal control, etc) with emerging technology, developing secure data management, building comprehensive quotes, and the ability to find sources for all of the materials required; these are the issues that will come to the forefront as emerging technologies are integrated at scale within large organizations. This will be a business differentiator for integrators when providing comprehensive quotes for those large-scale operations.
